If you’re considering a 2015 Nissan Leaf electric car, now might be a good time to make your move.
Sales have stayed essentially flat for the past few months, and more cars are starting to come off leases.
Amid those market currents, Nissan is boosting incentives on the five-door hatchback.

In Southern California at least, there are still plenty of 2015 Leafs in stock, and many are selling for thousands less than the MSRP, according to CarsDirect.
Nissan is currently offering leases for the base Leaf S at as little as $199 per month for 36 months, with a mileage allowance of 12,000 miles per year.
That rate includes a $10,025 rebate, but also comes with a down payment of $2,399–which is reportedly more than usual for the Leaf.
2015 Nissan LeafIn addition, Nissan is offering financing starting at zero percent APR for up to 72 months, with a $5,000 finance bonus for well-qualified customers.
That’s up from the $3,500 bonus offered last month.
Nissan also continues to offer its “No Charge To Charge” promotion in certain regions.

However, it’s only available to Leaf buyers in 17 designated U.S. cities at the moment.
Leaf sales remained more or less flat in the first half of this year.
2015 Nissan LeafIn June, Nissan delivered 2,074 cars, bringing the half-year total to 9,816–down from 12,736 during the same period last year.
The current Leaf is in its fifth model year, making it a fairly old design by industry norms.

An updated version with a slightly higher range is widely expected for 2016, followed by an all-new, second-generation model sometime after that.
The car’s advancing age also means used Leafs are now more of an option.
As early leases end, more used models are showing up on dealer lots, providing an alternative for buyers looking to save some money.
