Electric-car fans, here’s your chance to see the latest EVs and plug-in hybrids, up close at New York’s Javits Center.
High Gear Media is joining with Hyundai and the New York International Auto Show to give you the chance to attend the upcoming show and to write about it for a High Gear Media site.
All you need to do is to sign up and tell us about your most memorable auto show moment. Maybe it’s the world debut of the Chevrolet Volt, or the Nissan Leaf–or even the Ford Focus Electric? Just write about it and if your entry is published, you’ll be entered automatically to win air and accommodations in New York, along with access to the show.
We’re looking for creative writing, use of photos and video–and we’re looking for all kinds of entries, so feel free to enter as often as you like.
Now for the rules, in brief. Each submission must be at least 250 words and must be well-written. Our editorial team will be looking for the best, most thoughtful entries. Originality is key, as are grammar and spelling. While our blogging platform gives you access to a huge library of photos, you can also craft an entry using YouTube clips and other media resources–so long as they’re used and cited properly. 
Entries that meet HGM editorial standards will be published on one of these sites: TheCarConnection, MotorAuthority, GreenCarReports, AllCarsElectric, FamilyCarGuide, AllCarTech, or SocialCarNews.
The contest ends on April 11 at 11:59 PM EST, and a winner will be named in time for the show. The winner will be paid to write about the show for HGM’s hub sites.
