Driving a Tesla Roadster is an unforgettable experience.
To be fair, perhaps driving any car with acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds is unforgettable. But the fact that all the Tesla’s torque comes from 6,831 lithium-ion laptop cells powering an electric motor–and the relative silence of the car as it slingshots you forward–makes it truly memorable.
The ultimate Ohm-My-God electric sports car is the 2011 Tesla Roadster Sport. It’s even faster–0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds, rather than 3.9–and has a host of other fittings and accessories that set it apart from “normal” Tesla Roadster 2.5 model.
Those include the very purposeful, almost evil black spoke wheels.
